How to get from Sofia Airport to Sofia by bus?
The inter-terminal service operates 24/7 and connects the two terminals. This bus route runs every 30 minutes from 8 am to 8 pm. Whereas between 8:20 pm to 7:40 pm, this route runs every 40 minutes. Keep in mind that for any additional information you can find the Information Desks located in the public areas of the two terminals.

This bus line connects the city center (Gen.Gurko Str.) with Sofia Airport Terminal 2 and 1 and then it goes back along Christopher Columbus Blvd.- Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd. to Gen.Gurko Str.

The bus ticket costs 1,60 euros and it is a 40minutes drive including the stops. It is a cheap transfer option you can get to reach the city center, but the buses are available from 5:40 am to 11:36 pm. They leave every 30 minutes from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You can purchase a bus ticket from kiosks and machines at Sofia Airport Arrivals Hall. There is also an Urban Mobility Centre in Terminal 2, where you can purchase tickets and ask for any help you might need. Buses stops are outside the Arrivals Hall as you exit the Arrival building.
There isn’t a night route from the airport to the city center and passengers can only carry to 2 pieces of luggage as there is limited space. Keep in mind that the city center stop is located a couple of kilometers away from the actual city center of Sofia, so you may need another bus or taxi to reach your destination.
