Is There a Toronto to Buffalo Airport Train?
Fortunately, there is a train that almost directly connects the two cities. You will have to make a connection at the Canada/US border, yet it should only take a few minutes, from there, you will be taken directly to Buffalo. The cost of a ticket is $76, which can be purchased either online, or via an automated kiosk at the train station. We do recommend booking beforehand, as this not only ensures a cheaper ticket, it also guarantees you actually get one, as they can oftentimes be sold out.
Warning: The train to Buffalo departs once daily, at 8:20 local time. This organize your plans accordingly, otherwise you will have to wait until the next day.
To begin your trip, head to Union Station in central Toronto. Once there, head inside and check the departure board to locate the platform your train is departing from. If you have purchased your tickets already, head to the platform; otherwise, buy one from the kiosks.
After making your way to the platform, wait for your train and then enjoy the trip.
The train will stop at the border, where you need to disembark and make your way to the next train. As you will be crossing an international border, having a valid photo ID is mandatory.
You will need to quickly make your connection, as there is only a small window of time available.
After that, it is smooth sailing all the way to Buffalo.
