Getting a Bus from Treviso Airport to Venice
In a similar fashion to taking the train, the bus too is a convenient way to get to your destination in the floating city. There also isn’t a direct bus route, but combining three rides will get you to your destination.
After landing at the airport in Treviso and collecting your luggage, head to the bus station. There are a number of buses departing towards Venice, but we shall only cover the most convenient here.
The first bus to catch from the airport is the number 6. This will take you to Fs De Gasperi in around 15 minutes, from where you will need to walk over to the Fs Duca d’Aosta bus stop to catch the 8E bus to San Pio X. After reaching that stop in around 40 minutes, briefly walk to the Mestre Centro B1 station and catch your final bus. This is the 4L, which will take you all the way to Liberta Santa Chiara, in Venice.
As you are taking multiple buses, it will benefit you to buy a multi-pass ticket. You can buy a time-limited one, valid for 75 minutes, which is enough to get you to Venice, although it may be close. This ticket costs €9.50, but if you don’t want to risk it, and plan to travel alot with public transport, pay a day-pass for €25.00, which is valid for buses, trains and water taxis.
