What Happens After You Land at Marco Polo?
For starters, the airport has one terminal, so there is no decision to make about T1 or T2 after landing. You have to pass through Schengen or Extra-Schengen arrival procedures, then reclaim your baggage, and move toward the exit.

Travel tip: Check whether your address has calle, campo, or fondamenta in it; chances are the property is inside Venice’s pedestrian centre. Also check where road access ends before you pre-book a Venice private taxi transfer.

Not every single landing at Marco Polo calls for a pre-arranged Venice taxi, especially if you’re visiting Venice and solo-travelling with light luggage and heading right to Mestre or Piazzale Roma.
