Is There a City Centre to Skopje Airport Train?

No, there is currently no train line that offers the route from airport to city. Although the country has a relatively well-developed train service, offering trips between cities; there has yet to be introduced a route that services the airport. Due to this, we recommend taking one of the other transportation methods presented to you in this list.

Getting a Bus from Skopje Airport to City Centre

The bus remains one’s only option for public transportation, when in the beautiful city of Skopje. The private bus provider Bus2Go, offers a direct route from the airport, to the central station in the city. The price of a singular ticket will cost only 199MKD, the equivalent of 3 euros and 24 cents, making it a very affordable option.

To catch the bus, simply head to the airport bus station, located close to the airport’s parking lot. It is recommended to have purchased your tickets in advance, although you can also get them from the driver.

Once on the bus, enjoy the smooth ride to the city centre. You will be dropped-off at the Skopje bus station, from where you will be able to make any necessary connections to arrive at your final destination.
