Is There a Lviv to Lublin Airport Train?
There isn’t a direct train, but with some clever railroad chicanery you can make your way from the airport to the centre of Lviv. Tickets may be slightly expensive, and a full-on search of your person may be needed at the border between the two countries, yet, if you are hellbent on making this journey, follow along.
From the airport, make your way to the train station in the terminal. You will need to locate the next REG train heading to Lublin Glowny. This journey should only take 16 minutes, with 3 intermediate stops along the way. Once there, your next train to catch is another REG train, this time to Rzesow Glowny, which should take almost 4 hours, with 51 stops along the way.
From Rzeszow main, catch the train to Przemysl Glowny, with a transit time of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Finally, the last leg of your journey will be on the 716 train to Lviv, which should get you there in 3 hours and 14 minutes.
In total, this journey is estimated to take over 15 hours, making it outrageously inconvenient, yet, if you have a penchant for long train rides through gloomy scenery, then it should definitely float your boat.
The cost of tickets in Poland will be around 44.40 Polish Zloty, the equivalent of 9 euros, and in Ukraine, it will cost 351,88 Ukrainian hryvnia, which is roughly the same as before, at 9 euros. Your total journey, will cost 18 euros.
