Going to Bratislava city center from Bratislava airport by bus is the cheapest way. Bus number 61 departs from the Bratislava airport every 15 minutes between the hours of 4:40 am and 11:30 pm.

From the airport to the city center in Bratislava, the ride is around 30-45 minutes. The ticket costs around 1,20 euros whereas for the elderly and kids the fare is 0,60 euros. You can buy the tickets from ticket machines inside the airport.

You can find the bus airport station outside the main terminal building next to the taxi stand. Remember that bus line 61 is quietly busy during peak hours as it is the only line that connects the airport to the city.

Not the most comfortable transport option if you are traveling with children as you might not be able to fit onto the bus and have to wait for the next one to arrive.

You also have the option of getting to Bratislava city center by train. However, it is not the most comfortable way as you have to reach the Main Railway station by the public transport network bus No.61.

It is 7 km from Bratislava Station to Bratislava Airport (BTS). The ride with a bus is around 29 minutes and the ticket costs 1 euro.

The Old Town is easily accessible from the Main Station on foot and is well connected to the rest of the city via trams, buses, or trolleybuses.
