Is There a Train from Burbank Airport to Disneyland?

There isn’t a train, per se, but you can rely on light-rail to get you to the theme park. It may be slightly inconvenient, but we shall detail it nevertheless.

From the airport, you’ll need to head outside to find the Metrolink, boarding the Ventura County line, which will take you to Union Station in central Los Angeles. Once there, you will need to change metro, boarding the Orange County Line, which will get you to Anaheim station. Once there, you will need to catch a quick US taxi ride to get to the park.

Getting a Bus from Burbank Airport to Disneyland

Similarly to the light-rail mentioned above, taking the bus will also require you to change vehicle half-way through the journey. The bus may be considered a slightly more enjoyable option, as it is above ground, and you’ll be able to see Los Angeles during the journey. The downside will be traffic, as, if there is any congestion, you may be stuck in traffic for a few hours.

From the airport, you will need to catch the Route 1 bus towards Fullerton. You will arrive there in around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once at the Fullerton station, locate your next bus, namely the number 43 Costa Mesa – 18th and Newport bus. In around 18 minutes, this bus will have you at the front gates of Disneyland.

Tickets will cost around $5.00, or $2.50 for each single-journey trip. It is recommended to buy a day-pass.

Distance from Disneyland to Burbank Airport

By car the distance is 40.2 miles, and you will traverse most of central Los Angeles to reach your destination. The total transit time by car is 37 minutes, whereas by bus it is 2 hours 40 minutes, and light rail is 2 hours 4 minutes. All times provided are a rough estimate, rather than an precise timing.
