How to reach Sarajevo city center from Sarajevo Airport by bus?

To the city center, which is about 12 kilometers east of the airport, from Sarajevo International Airport you can go by bus.

The Centrotrans Eurolines company’s buses connect the Sarajevo International Airport to the city’s center. The flight schedule and the bus schedule are in sync.

The bus departs from the airport for the city center every day during the summer at the following intervals: 5:30 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 7:15 a.m., 8:45 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 13:15 p.m., 13:50 p.m., 15:10 p.m., 16:40 p.m., 17:30 p.m., 20:40 p.

The daily bus also departs from the Vijenica bus stop for the airport at these other times: 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 7:15 a.m., 8:45 a.m., 10:25 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 14:10 p.m., 14:45 p.m., 15:50 p.m., 17:20 p.m., 18:15

Tickets cost 2,5 euros for one-way travel and 8KM for roundtrip travel. One piece of luggage (up to 23 kg) is included in the cost, but there is an additional fee of 2,5 euros for each piece of luggage after that and for bags that weigh more than 23 kg.

The cost of a ride shouldn’t be more than what it would be if you used a taximeter; you can ask the driver for a receipt and you can agree on the fare in advance.

All legitimate taxi vehicles are required to have a “TAXI” roof sign and license plates that begin with the letter “TA.”
