Trip Advice: Always check the Kapnos Airport Shuttle live booking system because timetables may change seasonally. This is where you’re suggested to buy tickets too. But you’ll also find a Kapnos counter at the airport.

• Step 2: From central Larnaca, you’ll have to take an Intercity Bus to Ayia Napa. The whole ride will take about 50-70 mins, depending on where you stop. You can buy the paper ticket right from the driver for €5.

Option 2: Paphos Local Bus + Intercity (cheapest)

• Step 1: Take Bus 613 from the airport (you’ll find it in the bus parking area). It’ll get you to the Karavela bus station in about 40 mins, with a few stops. The cost per ticket is €1.50 (buy directly from the driver). The bus departs 4 times per day.

Travel Tip: Check the Bus 613 schedule for exact times (just imagine leaving the airport and realising you just missed the bus).

• Step 2: There’s only one direct departure per day from Karavela to Ayia Napa (around 16:00), so there’s a high chance you’ll miss it and need to connect via other cities. Plus, it takes about 3 hours. At least, the ticket is super-cheap (between €4 and €9) – buy from the driver.

Travel Tip: Always carry some cash if you’re going to Ayia Napa by bus.

At this point, you may think: The bus doesn’t sound too bad, right? Ok, now imagine your flight lands late, is delayed, or whatever. Plus, it’s the busy summer season, the heat is unbearable, and you need to change buses with all your luggage.

That’s why most travellers choose private airport transfers.
