Getting a Paphos to Coral Bay Bus
We are going to outline the way to get from the airport in Paphos to Coral Bay, so, even if you are already staying in Paphos, you can still follow along and get to your destination easily. You will need to take 2 buses to get to Coral Bay, if you are starting from the airport, whereas it is only 1 if the city centre is your starting point.
After arriving at the airport, and dealing with all your baggage, as well as passport control, head outside to the bus stop. The bus you will need to catch is the 612 to Paphos’ Harbour Station. This bus runs everyday, starting at 7 in the morning until half-past midnight. Tickets cost €1.50 for one-way ride, and will take around 20 minutes to reach the Harbour.
When you reach this stop, look for the 615 bus to make your connection. If it isn’t present at the stop, simply wait a few minutes and it is bound to turn up. You will need to purchase another ticket, as your previous one only works for a single trip. All tickets must be bought from the driver, and can only be paid for in cash. The 615 bus also runs all day, and operates regularly at multiple intervals throughout the day. For a full timetable for both buses, head over to the official OSYPA website.
Once you reach Coral Bay, you can walk to your accommodation, if it is located in the main part of town, or opt for a taxi or additional bus ride (if available). In sum, taking a bus between the two locations is a relatively easy and affordable mode of transportation, although it can oftentimes lead to waiting at bus stops.
Travel Tip: Keep in mind that ticket prices increase after 21:00, to €2.50.
