To get from Orly Airport to Paris city centre by train, start by taking the Orlyval shuttle train from the airport to the Antony station. From there, take the RER B train to the Châtelet-Les Halles station in France. This is the main hub for the Paris Metro and RER lines, so you can transfer to any of the other lines to get to your destination.
Make sure to purchase a ticket for the RER B train before boarding, as tickets are not sold on the train. Once you arrive at your destination, you will be in the heart of Paris city centre. A single ticket from Orly Airport to the centre of the city station will cost you €10.90.

To get from Orly Airport to Paris city centre, you will need to catch the OrlyBus at one of two stops located directly outside the arrivals hall of each of the two terminal buildings (Terminal Sud and Terminal Ouest). The Number 91 Orly Bus leaves approximately every 15 minutes and takes approximately 50 minutes to travel the 19 km (12 miles) to Place Denfert-Rochereau in the south of Paris. Tickets cost €12.30 and can be purchased at the ticket offices outside of the Airport’s exit. There is also a €1.90 surcharge applicable to those with luggage.
Once at Place Denfert-Rochereau, you can board the nearby metro line 6 which will take you directly to the city centre and other areas of interest around Paris.

The tram link from Orly Airport to Paris City Centre is an economical, easy and convenient way to get to the heart of the city. The price of a single ticket is €7.50. The tram takes approximately 30 minutes and makes 6 stops, including Saint Antoine, Voltaire, Montgallet, Gare du Sud, Stade Charlety, and Denfert-Rochereau. The tram is operated by RATP and the frequency is 10-20 minutes during peak hours.
Passengers can take the tram from the south terminal of Orly Airport. The tram provides access to many of the major attractions in Paris, including Notre-Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and more. The tram also connects directly to the Metro lines 6 and 14 at Denfert-Rochereau station, making it an ideal connection for exploring the city beyond the centre.
Travel Tip: When travelling by tram in Paris, be sure to buy a ticket with the appropriate fare before boarding and validate the ticket by inserting it in the ticket validating machine next to the driver. It is illegal to ride the tram without a valid ticket, and you could be fined for doing so.
Orly Airport is located approximately 13 kilometres, or 8 miles, south of the centre of Paris. This is about 14 minutes away by car, or half an hour if using public transportation.
