To get to the train station, catch the Linea Alfa bus from the airport and get off at the Alghero Stazione, which should take only 10-or so minutes. From there, you will have to catch the train, namely the SASSARI-ALGHERO Line, which runs at convenient intervals throughout the day. The ticket will cost €2.90 for the train, although you will have to pay for a separate ticket for the bus.

Alight the train at the station and head outside, there is a convenient tram line just outside, which you can catch if you need to get somewhere slightly further away in the city. You will need to purchase a new ticket to use the tram, which can be bought inside the station.

How to Get a Bus Sassari-Alghero Ride

Fortunately, when it comes to taking the bus from Sassari to Alghero, there is in fact a direct line which runs between the airport and Sassari. The bus in question is the Linea 760 line, which departs from the airport every hour, although it sometimes departs more frequently. The cost of a ticket is only €3.10, which needs to be bought at the departure station and only counts for a one-way ticket. There are options for more trips on a single ticket, which you can see when you are at the ticket kiosk.
