Can you Take a Bergamo Airport to Milan Train?
It is entirely possible to take a train from Bergamo and get to the central station in Milan. You will first need to catch a quick shuttle ride from the airport to the train station in Bergamo though. There are a few buses that can get you there, but the most efficient will be the Orioshuttle, as this departs on regular intervals.
The Orioshuttle stop is just outside of arrivals, thus easy to catch. The line to take is the number 3, and disembark at the Via San Giovanni station. One of the other bus lines could take you directly to Milan, but for the sake of this article, we will just stick to trains for now. The cost of your ticket here will be €6.00 and you can buy it either online or from the driver.
After reaching the train station, which is just a short walk away from the bus stop, you will need to catch one of the regional trains heading towards Milano Centrale. As there are numerous trains which service this route, we are unable to provide you with an exact train number, you should refer to the departures board at the station to find out which one is the right one, and from there proceed to the appropriate platform. Tickets will cost €5.80 for second class and €8.70 for first-class. Seats are slightly comfier in first-class and it will definitely be less crowded.
The trip should get you to the central station in around 50 minutes. Enjoy!
Travel Tip: Book your train tickets online on the official Trenord website.
