This is a 16-minute, non-stop journey to Amsterdam’s Centraal Station. From there you’ll take the 14 Flevopark tram. Your stop is the Amsterdam, Mr. Visserplein (9th stop). When you alight from the tram, you’ll be 110 meters away from what it’s considered Amsterdam’s city center!

Getting a Bus From Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam

You can also take the bus from Amsterdam Airport to city center. Some people prefer being on wheels and enjoy the outside view during their trip. We get it and here’s how you can make such a journey by bus.

When you land at Schiphol Airport, head to the airport’s bus station. It’s a 3-minute walk. At Platforms B15-B17 there is the 397 AMS Elandsgracht. This is your bus and there is one every 8 minutes. Board your bus.

After 29 minutes alight from the bus at the Leidseplein stop (10th stop). You are just outside the city’s center. So, you have to take a tram to reach the center. You’ll find the No. 7 Azartplein tram to Amsterdam, Weesperplein. You’re 800 meters away from the center.
