Transport from Bergen Airport to City Centre Various Options

As is the case with most modern countries, you have at your disposal numerous transportation options. We have discussed public transport thus far, but what about private? Perhaps you would prefer to rent a car, hail a taxi at the airport, or enjoy the comfort and efficiency of an airport transfer.

For car rentals, you have the flexibility to travel on your own time, stopping off to see sights or having lunch, as you see fit. Those are the positives. For negatives, you have two glaring issues; the first is regarding insurance, whereas the second is about navigation. For insurance, you are almost always asked to deposit a sizable amount for any possible damages the car suffers. This may seem completely fine, yet when looking at it from a holiday maker’s perspective, it can mean that you are 500 euros out of pocket, before the trip even starts. Navigation is also an issue, as getting around foreign roads can oftentimes be very stressful.

What about hailing a taxi cab at the airport? Well, this too may seem like a good option at face value, yet when you look at reviews, or ask other travellers who have done something similar, you will see that it is less so. Taxi cabs can oftentimes overcharge for a simple trip to the city, meaning you are getting ripped off.

This really only leaves you one option, that will never disappoint, an airport transfer with AtoB.

Cheapest Way from Bergen Airport to City Centre

When it comes to travel, the price needs to be right. No one wants to overspend during their holiday, especially after likely overpaying for their airline tickets. Public transport is by far the cheapest option, yet it can be unreliable, and is usually uncomfortable, especially for larger groups.

Speaking of larger groups, AtoB transfer offers a wide range of vans, which, when calculating their price per passenger, actually turn out to be cheaper than public transport. What sounds better, paying more for a train ride alongside countless other travellers, or travelling comfortably with your friends and family in a private vehicle? – we thought so!
