You can find your ticket for the train in the Arrival Hall and on the train but the last is highly risky. As not all trains have a ticket machine and the guard will only accept cash.

The ticket machine is just to the left of the currency exchange in the Arrival Hall. A single ticket to Krakow city center costs 2 euros (9pln). Machines accept contactless payments as well.

To the left of the ticket machine you are going to find a lift, go to the first floor and turn left at the top. This covered bridge links the terminal with the train station. Keep in mind to follow the signs ‘train to the city’ to the end of the bridge and take the lift down to the train platform. Trains run every 30 minutes between 4’25 am and 12’20 am and the ride is around 20 minutes.

Taking a taxi from the Krakow Airport is quite easy to find. When you exit the Arrival Hall, look slightly left for the exit to the road. It’s easy to see and well signposted.

The official Krakow taxi not only has a rank, but they get their dedicated lane of traffic in front of the building and this will be the first thing to see when you get outside. The ride costs around 20 euros (89pln) and the journey lasts about 25 minutes.

Most of the drivers speak English but in any case, have your destination written to avoid any misunderstanding. Keep in mind that the fare is higher at night and Sundays.

The Krakow government has restricted car use in the center of Krakow and most things are within walking distance. However, there are several car rental companies at Krakow Airport. All the car companies are located on the upper floor. So take the lift directly opposite Arrivals.
