Is There a Lviv to Katowice Airport Train?
The train is likely your “quickest” method for getting to Lviv, if you want to take public transport. Although we will cover both train and bus, our recommendation is the train. In just 8 and a half hours, you can make the journey between these two cities.
From the airport, catch a bus to the city centre, either a public or private offering The AP or M11 routes will take you to the central station. Once there, you will need to take an IC train to Przemysl Glowny, on the outskirts of Ukraine. This journey will take around 4 hours and 20 minutes, with 19 intermediate stops along the way.
Once in Przemysl Glowny, make the connection to the 716 train, which will take you to the centre of Lviv. This final journey is estimated to take around 3 hours, and is non-stop.

Getting a Bus to Katowice Airport from Lviv
A convenient bus route is available from the popular budget bus provider flix, which can get you to Lviv in 14 hours and 10 minutes. The price of a ticket is €52.98, which can be purchased directly through the providers website.
To begin your journey, head to Flix’s bus stop at the airport, and locate the bus to Katowice Sadowa. We recommend asking the driver whether this is the correct bus to catch, otherwise you may get on the wrong one. There will be a transfer time of 4 hours and 50 minutes here, before the final leg of the journey to Lviv will commence. There will be an intermediate stop during this journey in Krakow, although it is only for 10 minutes.
