Is there a Train from Stockholm Airport to City Centre?

You’re in luck! There is indeed a train that services the route between the airport and city. It is called the Arlanda Express, and it runs every 20 minutes throughout the day, making it an incredibly efficient option. The price of a ticket is 320 SEK, which is the equivalent of just under 30 euros.

To catch the train, head to the train station within Arlanda Airport and locate the platform where the Express train is departing from. Purchase your tickets from one of the kiosks at the airport, or you can even book your tickets online and get a discounted price for group trips.

Getting a Bus from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to City Centre

Taking the bus is also a quick and affordable way to reach the city; in fact it is even cheaper than the train, at just 10 euros per ticket. The bus service is offered by the popular provider Flix, and buses run throughout the day at roughly 1 hour intervals.

The bus stop is just outside the airport, next to 7-11.

The distance between the city, and its main international airport is 35 kilometres, as the crow flies. By car, the journey increases to roughly 42 kilometres. The duration of a trip, by car, will take a little over 30 minutes, although this is subject to traffic conditions, and can increase if there is any congestion.
