After a long flight, navigating a new airport can feel daunting. But fret not, AtoB transfers make the arrival process a breeze. This guide will help you find your driver efficiently, so you can be on your way to exploring the Eternal City in no time.
Before You Meet Your Driver:
Collect Your Luggage: Once you disembark, follow signs for baggage claim. Locate the belt corresponding to your flight number and retrieve your belongings.
Pass Through Customs (if necessary): If you’re arriving from outside the European Union, you’ll need to pass through customs. Follow signs for “Dogana” (customs) and declare any items required.
Meeting Your Driver:
Fiumicino Airport has separate terminals for arrivals. Although the airport has 3 terminals, the 1st and 2nd have now combined into a single, larger terminal. Here’s where to find your AtoB driver upon exiting customs:
- Terminal 3: Exit the secure baggage claim area and enter the main waiting hall. Look for the designated driver waiting area marked by large round columns with “NCC/LIMO DRIVER” labels. Your driver will be there holding a sign with your name.
- Terminal 1: Arriving from KLM, Air France, or domestic flights within Italy? Head to the main waiting hall after collecting your luggage. This terminal is smaller, so you’ll easily spot the designated meeting point column with a blue “Meeting Point” sign at the top. Your driver will be waiting nearby with your name sign.
Relax and Enjoy the Ride:
Once you meet your AtoB driver, simply hand over your luggage and relax. They’ll handle the rest, ensuring a smooth and comfortable transfer to your destination in Rome.
