Although the train is a popular travel method in the Czech Republic, unfortunately these two destinations have yet to be linked up. Due to this, it is recommended to take the bus, or one of the private transfer methods we shall detail below.
So, as said, the bus is your only public transportation method for getting from the airport to Carlsbad. The most reliable provider, who also offers a direct route is RegioJet, who offers tickets for the ride at €7.10, which can be bought online through their online portal.
To catch the bus, head outside to the stop in front of the main terminal, just outside the Marriott hotel. This should take only a minute or so to reach. After boarding the bus, make sure to get a nice seat, so you can see all the beautiful countryside during your journey! Now, all you have to do is sit and enjoy the 1 hour 41 minute journey to Carlsbad.
Travel Tip: Pack some food and water for the ride, as there is nothing worse than getting hangry during a trip!

In total, there is a distance of 121 kilometres between the two cities, with a total trip duration of around 1 hour and 22 minutes.
If you wish to use public transportation, your options are relatively constrained as there are only buses performing the route. Fortunately, you have a wide range of choices for private transportation. Hailing a cab on the side of the road is an option, but it might cost a lot of money because drivers frequently overcharge for lengthy trips. As an alternative, you may attempt driving yourself there in a rental vehicle.
There are several suppliers in the Czech Republic, but before you can hire a car, you’ll need to put down a hefty insurance deposit. You could already be out of pocket as a result of this. Another issue with renting a car is having to navigate unfamiliar roads, although for some this can be invigorating – to each their own, we guess. There is therefore basically just one choice left.
