There is the option of getting the bus from Ben Gurion airport to Tel Aviv city center. You need to change two buses to get to the city. First, there are other bus lines operated by Egged that cover the route from Ben Gurion Airport to EL AI Junction.
The Egged No. 5 shuttle bus transports passengers between terminals and a small bus terminal (EL AI Junction) in the nearby Airport City industrial/office park, where regular Egged bus routes pass through. From there you are getting the bus downtown. At Terminal 3, the line 5 stop is located on Level 2 (Public Transport Level). The ride is around 36 minutes in total and can cost you 3 euros in total. How to get to Tel Aviv from Ben Gurion Airport by train? 
You can take the train to reach Tel Aviv city center from the Ben Gurion airport. Ben Gurion Airport Railway Station is located on Level S of Terminal 3. Passengers can get to Terminal 3 from Terminal 1 by the free shuttle bus operated by Ben Gurion Airport. The journey takes about 20 minutes to get to Tel Aviv-Savidor Center. Please keep in mind that train stations are on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, so you’ll have to take a bus or a taxi to get to your hotel.
You should know that the service is not available on Shabbat or Jewish holidays, but it is available every other day of the week. The line from Tel Aviv and Haifa to Nahariya is open 24 hours a day. The train runs every 30 minutes.

TLV Airport is only 14 minutes away from Tel Aviv city center by taxi. Keep in mind to only take licensed taxis so that you avoid scams. Taxis are available at Gate 3 exit on the ground level and Gate 21 exit on the second level.
