From the central station in Barcelona, catch the AVANT train, which departs at convenient intervals throughout the day. This is a non-stop trip, arriving in Girona in around 38 minutes. From there, you will need to catch a bus to the airport, the L-28 bus provides a non-stop option.

In total, you will end up paying around €20 for the train and bus, making the trip relatively affordable.

Forget about trains, taking the bus from Barcelona to Girona is the way to go! It’s an affordable and convenient option with plenty of departures throughout the day. The journey takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes and the ticket price is only €10.

The bus to catch is the 602 from the central bus station. Similarly to the train option, this too is non-stop, getting you to your destination in an hour. Fortunately this time, the bus is direct to the airport, making it more convenient, as well as more cost-effective.
